He has served this department in many capacities within the department such as Corrections, Road Patrol, Detective, Narcotics, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain and his current assignment as Assistant Chief of Police, supervising the criminal enforcement and administrative captains of the Morgan City Police Department.

Captain Augman has served this department in many capacities such as, Corrections, Detective, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain of the Criminal Enforcement Divisions and her current assignment as Captain, supervising the Administrative Divisions of Morgan City Police Department.

Captain John M. Schaff has been serving with the Morgan City Police Department since 1998. Captain Schaff has served the department in many capacities including Corrections, Patrol, K-9 Officer, Narcotics, Detectives, Sergeant, and his most recent position of Lieutenant where he commanded the Patrol, Corrections, and Investigations Divisions. Captain Schaff has overseen the Administrative Divisions and currently oversees the Criminal Enforcement Divisions of the Morgan City Police Department.
