History of the Office

Chief of Police:
Chad M. Adams has been serving the Morgan City Police Department of Louisiana since 1996. He has served the Police Department in many different capacities such as Corrections, Patrol, K-9 Officer, Sergeant, Lieutenant of Corrections, Investigations, Narcotics, and Captain. He was appointed as Chief of Police in October of 2022. He will assume the responsibilities of Chief of Police, which oversees the operations of the Morgan City Police Department.
