South 70 & Toni O Performing at the MCPD National Night Out

South 70 and Toni O

Chief Chad M. Adams and the Morgan City Police Department are excited to announce that South 70 with special guest Toni 0 will be performing at the 2024 National Night Out Against Crime. The event, which will take place on October 15, 2024, at Lawrence Park in Morgan City from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., is expected to be another good one.

This year's event is co-hosted with Doric Lodge#87 Free & Accepted Masons who started the National Night Out Against Crime in 2013. Without Doric Lodge#87 this event would not even be possible. The Morgan City Police Department would like to thank them for being a Community Leader in bringing the National Night Out to Morgan City.

Chief Adams would also like to thank the Morgan City Police Department Benevolent Association, Dignity Memorial, Tech Savvy Solutions, and Prevention Plus Care for their contributions in bringing this event together. Your Community Partnerships are greatly valued.

The Morgan City Police Department 2024 National Night Out Against Crime is an event that has engagement with our Law Enforcement Partners, First Responder Partners, and Business Partners within our great community. There will be an expo around the park with these partners with information and give aways for everyone to enjoy. The Morgan City Fishing Team will be on hand with the Fishing Game. The kids will receive personal instruction on casting and have a chance to win a brand-new fishing pole.

The Morgan City Petting Zoo will be at this year's event with some fury friends that the kids will be able to interact with.

The food operation, which is being headed by the Morgan City JROTC and Col. Cory Williams will be in place with Hamburgers and Hot Dogs provided by G&J Land and Marine, Domino's Pizza, and Sno-Balls to be served up by The Big Chill. Beverages will also be available.

Let us not forget about all of the giveaways.
